Following the loss last week of Ian Keith, one of our founder members, news reaches us of the death of another orienteering stalwart, Mike Nelson of BOK, who had been seriously ill since last summer when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Mike was a man of many parts. An expert mapper, he and Mary were also the Ultrasport agents for the S West for a number of years. Mike was also BOK's first SI expert and gave WIM much needed support in our early days with the system.
Mike died peacefully last Saturday. WIM offer their condolences to Mary and family at this sad time.
