COMPASS SPORT CUP/TROPHY 2007

The qualifying round for this year’s Compass Sport Cup/Trophy competition is due to held on Sunday 18 March 2007 and WIM has been entered in the BADO event at Harewood (near Andover). Full details of the event are noted on the back of this sheet.

WIM this year has managed to qualify for the Compass Sport Cup Trophy (for clubs with a membership of less than 100) and we are competing against BADO, SARUM and WSX. As SARUM were placed in the first 3 of the 2006 final if they win this year’s qualifying round then the club placed 2nd will also go through. All we have to do therefore is to beat BADO and WSX. However if we can have all our members running on the day I feel we have a very good chance of winning overall. Let’s go for it. Please therefore note your diaries and let me know as soon as possible if you are able to run and whether you have any preference for an early or late start. WIM has 10 allocated start times on each course and I will do my best to give you the appropriate start time. Our first start time is 10.36 and the last start time is 12.20. The event will also use emit so when confirming that you can run please let me know if you have an emit number. If not these will be hired for you and all entry and hire fees will be paid by the Cub.

THIS YEAR WE HAVE AN EXCELLENT CHANCE OF GETTING TO THE FINAL SO PLEASE COME ALONG AND SUPPORT THE CLUB IF YOU POSSIBLY CAN.

Course 2 - Blue Women Open
Course 3 - Blue Men M45+ M20-
Course 4 - Green Women W45+ W20-
Course 5 - Green Men M60+
Course 6 - Short Green M75+ W60+
Course 7 - Light Green M/W 18-
Course 8 – Orange M/W 14-

In addition on the day BKO, SO, SOC and TVOC will compete in the Compass Sport Cup competition.
