Those of you who were at the AGM will know that this year we have decided to institute a new trophy, called the Founders Trophy, given in memory of Ron Wilton, one of the club's founder members, who died last year.
This trophy is awarded to our club champion, decided by members' performances in the November Classic. The award is calculated by using a Handicap system based on your speed in minutes/kilometre on your course at the Classic, which is then adjusted using BOF figures for the speed/k of runners in the various age groups. Its all very complicated and our thanks must go to Trevor Bridle and John Shucksmith for calculating the results.
Congratulations to Sue Hands on being the inaugural winner.
The top three are
1 Sue Hands
2 Chris Branford
3 Penelope Harwood

A spreadsheet with the full results can now be downloaded from this link
