Whilst many club members were at Somerley this weekend, over a dozen WIM members were up in Galloway for the Mountain Marathon.
They seem to have had fairly vile weather on Saturday but also got the sun on Sunday. The conditions seem to have favoured the navigational skills of orienteers over runners, judging by their results
A quick glance reveals that Sue Hands & Vicky Crawford seem to have been our most successful competitors, coming 12th & first Female Veteran in the Handicap section of the Short Score class and Noel Smith and Clive Shaw who were 37th/200+ on the Medium Score.
Several Stauntons, Paul Pickering and Anne McMurtrywere also involved. Any chance of someone writing us report?
