Oct 27 - A Night event at Clayesmore, Iwerne Minster - possibly extended to limited colour coded/junior training during the afternoon, if there is a demand from schools - please contact Dick Keighley by Friday 26 if you want to use the course in the afternoon - otherwise I won't hang the flags until Sat afternoon!.

Oct 28 -Yvette Baker Trophy regional round, Castle Neroche. See QO website for details.

(Nov3/4 - November Classic weekend. There will be colour coded courses at the Classic on the Sunday, but you MUST PRE-ENTER, even colour-coded courses by 14/10) Cost: £4 Juniors www.southampton-orienteers.org.uk

Nov 16/17 - British Schools weekend ( I will also extract Dorset Schools performances from the Sunday for the league - Dorset Schools League 4)

Dec 2 SOC event, Burley Dorset Schools 5 - Its also the Yvette Baker Trophy final, which will probably take out all the Sarum juniors, but there are 8 league events per season and its the best to count so this will have to be one of the ones they drop.

Two courses will be made available with informal coaching for novices and improvers on Saturday 10th November at Moors Valley. This will link with the introductory coaching available through the Moors valley Park Office but these courses will be available all day from 10.30 to 3.30. We shall use SI electronic controls and the courses will be of yellow and red standard to suit both early learners and runners. Contact is Keith Henderson
